Hi everyone!
Usually winter is a good time to grumble. After all, it's cold, dreary, and often a fairly miserable combination of the two, but today I looked outside and found myself joyful for the frozen time of year. How could I not? Just take a look at these pictures of my dog, Jake frolicking in the snow. If I were a little braver, and inclined to get out of my jammies on a snowy day in December, I would be out there frolicking with him. Maybe tomorrow. I have big plans to pull out the tree and decorations and spread some holiday cheer around here.

In the mean time, I'll leave it up to my dog and his ridiculously furry rump to brave the elements so I don't have to. I love how he looks so wolfish when out
in the snow. He's almost intimidating, if I didn't know any better. My dog is a goofball, but a very good boy, well, aside from the time he ate my cell phone when he was a puppy, but that was a long time ago. He's been mostly good ever since.I don't have a whole lot else to talk about this week. Sometimes I feel like I should have something grandiose and profound to say, then I think, nah. Not right now. The world is so heavy lately. Sometimes we should just sit back and enjoy cute pictures of animals doing funny things. There's nothing wrong with that. Now where's my hot chocolate?
Happy winter!
Jess and Jake

I love the picture where he's jumping at me. That's one of the best pictures I've taken of him. He looks so silly.
