Hi everyone!
Guess what? I'm camping today! Right now, I'm in California, enjoying the dry heat. It's been an adventure, but as trips usually go, I'm really short on time. This weekend I'm out camping in the Sierra Nevada. Well, right now I'm typing this post as I get ready for the camping trip. I'm willing to bet it will be a little difficult to find a wireless connection in the middle of the woods.
So as you read this post, I'll be blissfully non-connected, sitting around a campfire and eating gooey marshmallows from a stick that I've probably caught on fire. If it's the only thing I catch on fire, it'll be a good weekend.
I love camping. If you couldn't tell, I'm a little into nature. I'm looking forward to doing some bird watching. I'm also looking forward to the trees, the streams, and the cool weather. I'm not looking forward to the dirt so much, but you take what you can get sometimes.
So I hope you all have a great weekend. I'll be back on Monday.
Hmmm, maybe I'll take along a good book.
Any suggestions?

Good luck with your camping trip and getting down and dirty with nature. I think the only way I'd do the camping thing these days is if I had a motor home, I like having a bathroom and kitchen. I just finished Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep, I thought it was a fantastic book.

have fun camping. i do love it but haven't gone in about 8 years. I just finished Monica Burn's Assassin's Honor and Karin Harlow's Enemy Lover. they were both really good!
